For a limited time, Amazon has marked down the popular 34″ LG UltraGear 34GP63A gaming monitor by nearly 40% off. It’s normally priced at $399.99, but today you can pick it up for only $249.99. The GP63 has all the features you’d want in a gaming monitor, like a curved ultrawide form factor, a fast response time and refresh rate, and great color reproduction and viewing angles.

The LG GP63A keeps the price tag down while maintaining all of the features you’d want in a gaming monitor. For starters, this is a generously sized 34″ display with a 3440×1440 resolution. It’s definitely sharp enough for gaming, and at the same time the 1440p isn’t too taxing on a current-gen GPU so you don’t have to spend a lot of money on a high-end graphics card. Something like an RTX 4060 or RTX 4070, for example, could easily handle the bandwidth.

The GP3A utilizes a VA panel, which offers wider viewing angles and better color reproduction (99% sRGB color space) han a TN panel and a faster sub-1ms response time and more uniform backlighting than most IPS panels. Because this is an ultrawide display, it’s curved for better immersion. It supports VRR and MBR and is FreeSync Premium certified. Although it isn’t officially G-SYNC certified, it has been successfully tested to be G-SYNC compatible much like most other gaming monitors nowadays. Both DisplayPort and HDMI ports are available, but you’ll want to use DisplayPort for the 160Hz refresh rate.

Overall if you’re specifically looking for a 34″ ultrawide gaming monitor, this is a great option for the price. We actually rated its higher end 34GP900G cousin as the best gaming monitor for 2024, which has the same 34″ ultrawide form factor but upgrades the VA panel to a Nano IPS panel. However that one retails for nearly $1300. You could technically buy this gaming monitor and a nice gaming PC for the same price.
